Two years ago this month, Max and I took a trip to East Texas for our anniversary. A few weeks before that, an idea for my next book had come to me – something quaint with a small town feel. A place where readers would feel welcome. A few other ideas bubbled up, none of them particularly related, but they seemed to fit. If only I could decide on a setting. The romantic getaway not only gave me the setting, but introduced me to the wonderful people of East Texas. Stardust is the result. I’ve loved every aspect of writing this book, but after carrying this baby around for twenty-four months, I’m ready for the birth.
