Thank you all for your wonderful response in the comments section on the last post. You’ve convinced me that “home” is near and dear to all our hearts.

Home means to me a safe haven. A place to go when storms in life arise.
I came home nine years ago to the town I was born in. All the adult years that I spent away I always longed for home. I’ve seen old friends and have made new ones. I love living in this town. We have churches, fairs, festivals, parades, and radio contests. We have rivers, streams, and lakes to swim in. We are a community that watches each others backs. Ahhh to be home again!
So many of your replies echoed Judy’s sentiments, and as I read through the comments, I thought how sweet it would be to have y’all (yes, I’m Southern) over for iced tea and lemonade pie. Considered yourself invited, at least, to my cyber porch.
